Amanda Foster, a mom from Kentucky, was 32 weeks pregnant and praying hard. Her unborn son had been diagnosed with a possible heart defect early on, and every check-up brought fear. “I kept asking God to place His hand over my baby,” she said.

Then, during a routine ultrasound, something unexpected happened.

As Amanda and her daughter Bailey looked at the screen, they spotted what looked like a large hand gently resting on the baby’s head. “Mom, look at the hand!” Bailey whispered.
The image quickly went viral. While some people saw it as just a distorted baby limb, Amanda believes it was a divine sign. Soon after, a specialist found no trace of the defect. The baby was healthy.

For Amanda, this moment was deeply personal. Years ago, she lost her first son to a rare condition. That heartbreak shook her faith. But in 2021, she found her way back to God—and now, with another son on the way, she feels her prayers have truly been answered.
“I know what I saw,” Amanda said. “To us, it was a miracle.”
