While driving alone, he tragically crashed into a tree and didn’t survive, despite quick emergency response.

His son Leroy called him a “legend,” remembering his high spirits and passion for new film projects. Known for roles in The Man from Hong Kong, Deathcheaters, and Furiosa, he left a strong mark on the film world.

Friends and colleagues shared heartfelt tributes. Director Jamie Blanks called him a “kind, wonderful” friend, while former manager Brian Trenchard-Smith praised his talent.

He is survived by his four sons, ex-wife Joy, and former partner Ulli—leaving behind a legacy that won’t be forgotten.
