Raksa: The Orca That Remembered
While on a routine patrol, six crew members noticed a massive orca—scarred and silent—trailing their boat. She didn’t attack, just followed closely, diving and leaping with unsettling intent.
They later identified her as Raksa, a whale injured days earlier by illegal fishing devices in the same area.
For 30 minutes, she stayed with them, never touching the boat—just watching. When they turned back, she disappeared into the deep.
