Ivana Pino Arellano, known as “La Rancherita de Chanco,” tragically died in a car accident in Chile just one day after her 32nd birthday. The car flipped on the wet M-80 road, killing the beloved country singer at the scene and seriously injuring her passenger.
A rising musical talent and mother of four, Ivana was known for blending traditional Latin sounds with a modern touch. Her hometown of Chanco mourned her loss, calling her “a spirit of public service, passion, and love.”
Her funeral was held on June 17, with family, friends, and fans gathering to honor her memory. As the town said in tribute: “Thank you, Ivana, for giving us days full of light and peace.”
