Henry Rodriguez, a 37-year-old Venezuelan tattoo artist, underwent a shocking transformation to become a superhero in the eyes of his 7-year-old son.
Driven by love and his son’s fascination with comic book heroes, Henry removed part of his nose and ears, tattooed his eyeballs and body, and had implants added to his forehead and brows. The process involved 16 surgeries and cost over £27,000.
Though the transformation was painful, Henry says he has no regrets. “I want my son to be proud. To him, I’m not just Dad — I’m a hero.”
When asked what he’d tell his son about doing the same, Henry said, “Think carefully — and wait until you’re an adult.”
