Dad Donates Kidney to Save His Daughter’s Life
Little Maddy Rbykin was born with a rare condition called Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), which caused her stomach to swell and left her constantly sick and exhausted. By age two, her health had severely declined, and doctors feared she wouldn’t survive without a kidney transplant.
Her father, Paul, turned out to be a perfect match—and didn’t hesitate to donate his kidney to save her life.

“The surgery was terrifying, but now Maddy has so much energy. She’s a happy and healthy little girl,” said her mom, Karen.
Paul humbly added, “Any parent would do the same.”
Now thriving and full of life, Maddy will likely need another transplant in 25 years—but for her parents, that’s a lifetime away.
