Treviño Brothers Still in Custody as Trial Delays Continue
Christian and Alejandro Treviño have been in jail since January 2022, accused of killing Gabriel Quintanilla after a younger relative said he behaved inappropriately.
Their attorney is seeking more time while awaiting DNA results from a truck and brass knuckles tied to the case.
A third man, Juan Melendez, was also charged but released on bond in August 2022.
Christian faces a capital murder charge, while Alejandro and Melendez are charged with aggravated assault. The trial has been postponed, and all three are set to appear in court again on April 7.
