Chiefs Confirm: Travis Kelce Has Made His Decision on His ‘Last’ Season With the Team

Just last month, there were plenty of questions about Travis Kelce’s NFL future.

After the Kansas City Chiefs’ heartbreaking Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the star tight end admitted he was seriously considering retirement.

Kelce, an All-Pro veteran, acknowledged he didn’t have his best performance in Super Bowl LIX and made it clear: “I can’t go out like that.”

Now, according to a new report from the Daily Mail, Kelce has made up his mind—2025 will be his final season with the Chiefs.

“Travis is going all in on this [next] season, as he expects it to be his last,” a Daily Mail insider revealed. “He wants to retire as a Chief… and his contract is up after this year. [So] his current plan is to hang it up after this season.”

Kelce has already built an incredible career.

Over his 12 seasons with Kansas City, the former Cincinnati standout has earned four All-Pro selections and 10 Pro Bowl nods. More importantly, he’s helped the Chiefs secure three Super Bowl titles.

It could have been four if not for last month’s tough loss to the Eagles in New Orleans.

But Kelce isn’t finished just yet. He’s determined to bounce back and chase a fourth championship before he officially calls it a career—one that’s undoubtedly destined for the Hall of Fame.
