Kristin Juszczyk Responds to Wedding Outfit Backlash After Brandon Aiyuk’s Ceremony
Kristin Juszczyk, wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, found herself at the center of unexpected controversy after attending the wedding of 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and Rochelle Searight. And no—it wasn’t just the vows or the venue that drew attention, but Kristin’s outfit that really got people talking.
The fashion designer and entrepreneur shared photos from the event on her Instagram Stories, offering fans a glimpse into the celebration. One post featured Aiyuk with his groomsmen, while another showed Kristin posing with the bride and a group of female friends.
But it was her dress that sparked a stir.
In the photo, Kristin wore a light satin gown, while the other women around her wore black. The bride, as expected, wore a short white gown. Some fans mistook Kristin’s dress for white or ivory and took to social media to criticize her choice—an outfit many felt was too close in color to the bride’s.
The backlash led Kristin to address the situation directly in a follow-up Instagram Story.
“Guys, my dress is sage green. Come on noowwww,” she wrote, alongside a picture of her and Kyle at the wedding. She followed up with a second post to clear the air even more.
“I normally never respond to internet stuff, but guys—I would never wear white to someone’s wedding. I actually wore this dress to one of my best friend’s weddings and they helped me pick it,” she explained.
As for the happy couple, Aiyuk tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Rochelle, whom he’s known since they were teenagers.
Kristin and Kyle Juszczyk have been married since 2019, two years after getting engaged in New York.
