During his father Arnold’s funeral, Ryan is stunned when his dog, Bella, suddenly runs into the church and starts barking wildly at the closed casket. Alarmed by her behavior, Ryan insists the casket be opened—only to discover it’s completely empty.
The shocking revelation causes his mother to faint, and the funeral director is at a total loss for an explanation. Ryan immediately contacts the police. Things only get stranger when the coroner’s office tells him the coroner recently resigned—and Arnold’s file is nowhere to be found.
Growing more suspicious, Ryan heads to his late father’s company, which he now runs. While looking around Arnold’s old office, he notices that several of his father’s cherished figurines are missing—just one more piece of a troubling puzzle.
