Rory Feek: Country Music Artist, Devoted Father, and Storyteller

Rory Feek, born April 25, 1965, in Atchison, Kansas, is a well-respected name in American country music—both as a gifted songwriter and as part of the beloved duo Joey + Rory. Before stepping into the spotlight, Rory penned hits for big names like Blake Shelton and Kenny Chesney.

His performing career took off in 2008 when he and his wife, Joey Martin, appeared on the CMT reality show Can You Duet. Their old-school country sound and heartfelt lyrics won over fans nationwide, with songs like “Cheater, Cheater” becoming fan favorites.
