In a heartbreaking discovery, a baby was found severely malnourished but alive after spending several days alone in a Phoenix apartment following the death of their mother.
According to Phoenix police, the infant had been alone for an unknown number of days before a concerned neighbor—who hadn’t seen or heard from the mother—called authorities to check in.
