At 14, Brad promised his little brother Samuel they’d be together again. After years of working multiple jobs, juggling night school, and preparing a small apartment with love, he fought to prove he could give Samuel a real home.
The system called him too young, said love wasn’t enough—but Brad never gave up. With help from a kind landlady and support from Samuel’s foster mom, he turned hope into action.
At the final hearing, Brad stood tall and said, “I can give him a safe and loving home.”
The judge agreed.
Samuel ran into his arms. They were finally together.
“Pizza to celebrate?” Brad asked.
“YES!” Samuel grinned—and just like that, they were home.
