Two U.S. B-2 stealth bombers flew 13,000 km from Missouri to Iran, refueling mid-air, to drop massive 13,600 kg bunker-buster bombs on underground targets like Iran’s Fordow nuclear site.
Designed to smash through 60 meters of rock or concrete, the bombs were delivered by radar-evading jets that slipped past air defenses.
The mission highlights America’s unique ability to strike deeply buried nuclear facilities as Iran expands its underground defenses.
