Looks like Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift might have some competition for Kansas City’s favorite power couple.
Gracie Hunt, daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, appears to have gone public with a new relationship following a quiet breakup with Cody Keith — a longtime friend of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
On Saturday, the 26-year-old posted a sweet video to her Instagram Story showing her with her arms wrapped around a new mystery man at Arrowhead Stadium. Alongside the video, she shared a heartfelt caption:
“After meeting 7.5 years ago in this place… all along there was some invisible string.”
While Hunt didn’t name her new beau, clues suggest he might be affiliated with the Chiefs in some way, as the two were spotted together at Arrowhead during the NFL’s offseason.
The post all but confirms her split from Cody Keith, especially since she hasn’t mentioned him on social media in months and appears to have scrubbed past photos of him. Keith, a North Carolina-based real estate broker, has also set his Instagram account to private, adding fuel to breakup speculation.
Back in December, Hunt spoke candidly about her then-relationship with Keith, noting that he already had Mahomes’ stamp of approval.
“I love the Chiefs and I love football season. Cody grew up playing football, and he and Patrick actually trained together after college,” she told OutKick.
“They were already friends, and it’s just wild how small the world is. They’d been close for years before he and I ever met.”
Though the reason behind their split remains unclear, signs were evident when Keith didn’t appear in any photos from Hunt’s birthday celebration in March. He also wasn’t spotted with her at the Super Bowl in February, when the Chiefs faced off against the Eagles in New Orleans.
At the time, Hunt shared that despite the distance — with Keith living in North Carolina — they were making it work.
“We’re lucky we can travel to see each other. He made such a huge effort to come to games this year, and it’s been amazing sharing football season with him,” she said.
“I’ve been out to visit him too whenever I can. It’s been a great year — better than anything I could’ve drawn up in a playbook.”
Gracie comes from football royalty. Her family has owned the Chiefs since 1963. Her father, Clark Hunt, took over after her grandfather, Lamar Hunt, passed away in 2006. Today, Clark is estimated to be worth $1.4 billion, and the Chiefs franchise is valued at around $4.2 billion, according to Forbes.
