Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie just gave the internet a serious dose of cuteness overload! Fans can’t get enough of a brand new photo of their baby girl, Finnley, that Kylie shared — and everyone’s wondering about the story behind it.
On Tuesday, April 1, Kylie Kelce, 33, announced that she and her husband, retired NFL star Jason Kelce, 37, had welcomed their fourth daughter, Finnley “Finn” Anne. The proud mom posted a few adorable photos on Instagram, including a close-up of baby Finn snuggled in a white blanket and wearing a pink hat with a blue bow.
The Kelces are already parents to three girls — Wyatt (5), Elliotte (4), and Bennett (2) — so little Finn joins an already lively girl gang.
The couple first announced they were expecting baby #4 in a November Instagram post. In the caption, Kylie joked, “I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister. At least Ellie, Mom, and Dad are on the same page! 🤷♀️”
The accompanying photo showed the three big sisters in matching “Big Sister” sweaters, each reacting very differently to the news: Wyatt looked shocked with her hands on her head, Elliotte flashed a huge smile, and Bennett burst into tears.
During a March episode of her podcast Not Gonna Lie, Kylie shared that she was getting ready for labor and the arrival of baby Finnley. She revealed her birth plan was all set — and very personal.
“Before I get into this, as always, I just want to say: do whatever works for you,” Kylie told her listeners. “These are my personal preferences. I’m not you, and you’re not me — and we don’t have to live by each other’s choices.”
She explained what a birth plan is, describing it as “basically all the things you plan to do during labor,” whether that’s a home birth, using a kiddie pool in your living room, or going without meds.
Then, with her trademark humor, Kylie shared her own plan: “That’s right. It’s mine. You don’t need to have an opinion on it. You don’t need to worry about it — because it’s been approved by me, myself, and my team of OBs. Okay?”
And her birth wish? “I just want a fat needle in my back,” she said with a laugh, referring to getting an epidural. “I want a fat needle in my back that keeps the line in so when I need a little bumpty bump to get that window gone — if you know, you know — we can make that happen.”
