Kane Brown Opens Up About Falling for His Wife and Building a Family He Never Had

Country star Kane Brown recently opened up about his love story with wife Katelyn, and how their family has become the most meaningful part of his life.

The couple met in an unexpected way—Kane was supposed to be in Katelyn’s music video, but he ended up playing his first-ever show that same day. A year later, they finally met at a concert in Florida. “She drove home afterward, and I messaged her,” Kane said. “She came to Nashville—and never left.”

Though Kane said it takes him time to let people in, Katelyn knew right away. “She told her friend, ‘I’m marrying this guy,’” he recalled. And from their first lunch together, Kane was drawn to her kindness and sincerity—she didn’t even know he was becoming famous at the time.

Now married since 2018, the two share three children: Kingsley, Kodi, and Krewe. For Kane, nothing tops being a dad. Having grown up without a strong father figure, he says creating a loving home means everything. “I used to spend Christmas alone in my room,” he shared. “Now with Katelyn, we have big family holidays that last for hours. That’s what I’m grateful for.”
