Tristan Weigelt, 25, has transformed nearly his entire body with tattoos, spending over £40,000 and enduring 260 hours under the needle since his first ink in 2016. Originally from the U.S. and now living in Copenhagen, Tristan is nearly fully tattooed—except for his palms, private parts, soles, and ears.
Inspired by traditional Japanese art, his body features bold designs, including a large dragon on his back. His striking look has earned him a big following on Instagram, though it’s drawn mixed reactions—especially from his parents.
Tristan openly shares the physical and emotional pain behind his transformation, calling it a “long journey of pain and healing.” Despite the dramatic outer change, he insists he’s still the same person inside and recognizes himself in old photos.
Now working in the tattoo industry, Tristan encourages others to choose meaningful designs and not stress about trends. His story is a powerful reminder of how body art can be a deeply personal journey of self-expression and identity.
