Minors are not a protective umbrella for crime!

More and more, serious crimes committed by minors are being excused because of their age — and people are speaking out. The juvenile justice system was designed to help kids grow and change, not to give them a free pass for violent or intentional acts.

Communities are now calling for reform. Being young should mean having the chance to learn from mistakes — not the freedom to hurt others without facing consequences.

Justice should protect both children and society. It’s time to strike a better balance between compassion and accountability.
