Jason Kelce Jokes About Getting a Vasectomy After Wife Kylie Announces Fourth Pregnancy
Jason Kelce isn’t counting on having a son anytime soon—especially now that he and his wife, Kylie, are expecting their fourth daughter.
During his appearance on TNT’s Steam Room Friday night, the former NFL star, 37, admitted he’s considering getting a vasectomy as they weigh their family’s future.
While no final decision has been made, Jason revealed that he and Kylie, 32, have definitely discussed the “V-word.”
“We’ve talked about it. I don’t know if it’ll actually happen or not, but we’ll see,” Jason shared, hinting that baby number four might be their last.
When asked if he’d keep trying for a boy, the soon-to-be father of four made it clear the choice wasn’t really his to make.
“That’s not my decision,” he joked to hosts Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley. “I’ve got the easy part—I’ll keep doing my part,” earning laughs from the crew.
“But I think Kylie’s ready to be done. This pregnancy has felt long for her. And with this being our fourth girl… we’ll see,” he added.
For Jason, it’s not just about having a son—it’s about whether they’re ready for another baby.
“At the end of the day, our odds aren’t great,” he quipped. “We’ve got to let go of that idea. It’s more like, ‘Do we want another kid?’ And if we do, we’ll go for it.”
The former Philadelphia Eagles center made similar remarks in November after Kylie announced her pregnancy on Instagram.
“This might be it. Might be the last hurrah,” he told his brother, Travis Kelce, on their New Heights podcast. “Before we started having kids, I always said three, and Kylie said five—but I don’t think she’s feeling that anymore.”
“I think she’s like, ‘OK, I’m done,’” Jason admitted. “I am very good at making little girls, and we couldn’t be more excited.”
Jason and Kylie, who tied the knot in 2018, are already parents to daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1.
Kylie shared the pregnancy news with a heartwarming Instagram post featuring their three daughters in matching pink “Big Sister” shirts. But their reactions were priceless—Wyatt looked shocked, Elliotte smiled, and little Bennett burst into tears.
