Richard Huff, a 51-year-old father of seven, is covered in tattoos—more than 240 of them, to be exact. He calls himself an “ink addict,” having started his tattoo journey at 17. Now with 85% of his body inked—including tributes to his children—Richard plans to be fully covered in the next few years.
But his bold look hasn’t come without judgment. Strangers often call him a “monster” and question his parenting. Even kids at his children’s school have been scared of him. Still, Richard’s daughter proudly defends him: “My dad’s not scary. He just has cool tattoos.”
His wife, Marita, admits she was hesitant at first. “I judged him by how he looked,” she said. “But once I got to know him, I saw how kind-hearted he is.”
Despite the criticism, Richard stands by his tattoos as a personal story etched in ink—and his family stands firmly by him.
