Juan Pedro Franco, once the world’s heaviest man at nearly 600 kg, spent years bedridden, struggling to breathe and completely dependent on his mother. But despite the odds, he found the strength to change.
After gaining media attention in 2016, a team of doctors helped him begin a life-saving journey. He lost over 170 kg before undergoing weight-loss surgery, followed by several more procedures.
Today, Juan has lost more than 330 kg. He can walk, smile, and even make music. Now in his 40s, he lives in León, Mexico, and uses his story to inspire others never to give up.
