Supatra “Natty” Susuphan, once known as the “World’s Hairiest Girl,” is embracing a fresh start—and love. Now 17, Natty, who lives in Bangkok, Thailand, has shaved her face and body after falling in love and getting married.
Natty was born with a rare condition called Ambras Syndrome, also known as Werewolf Syndrome, which causes excessive hair growth all over the body. In 2010, she was recognized by Guinness World Records for it. Though laser treatments had little effect, she now regularly shaves to manage her appearance.
Despite facing years of bullying and nicknames like “Wolf Girl” and “Chewbacca,” Natty always tried to stay positive. “Being hairy makes me special,” she once said. Thanks to the support of her family and friends, she never let the teasing define her.
Her social media now reflects a happier life, especially alongside her husband. In a heartfelt post, she wrote, “You’re not just my first love—you’re the love of my life.”
Natty’s story is a powerful reminder that beauty comes in many forms, and with love and support, confidence can bloom even in the face of adversity.
