😮😲 He logged over 200 hours and spent more than $26,000 covering more than 70% of his body in tattoos — but what would he actually look like without them?
Back home, he gets judged just for walking down the street, runs into trouble with official paperwork, and once had a priest attempt to ‘drive out the devil’ he supposedly carried inside him.
None of it knocked him down, because while others see something frightening and wrong, he sees art, beauty, and something entirely his own.
😲😵 So what would he look like without all that ink? Find out in the first comment. 👇👇
For years now, Didi has been fully immersed in the world of tattoos.
He put in more than 200 hours and invested over $26,000 to cover upward of 70% of his body in artwork — every single piece carrying a piece of his story, his pain, his hopes, and his hunger for freedom.
The ink carried him through some of his darkest stretches of depression, acting as both armor and a way of speaking to the world around him.
But building that life in the Philippines — a deeply conservative, predominantly Catholic nation — came with a real price.
He’s been judged on sidewalks, hit walls trying to deal with official documents, and was even subjected to an impromptu exorcism on a public bus when a priest tried to ‘expel the devil’ he believed had taken up residence in Didi’s body.
Any of that alone could have made someone give up entirely. Didi just kept going.
These days, he’s far more than someone who loves tattoos — Didi has grown into a real symbol of bravery and self-expression.
He speaks up for people’s right to exist on their own terms, pushes back against prejudice, and gives younger Filipinos the courage to chase what matters to them regardless of the noise.
‘Living tattooed in the Philippines is a constant battle. People automatically connect ink with prison and drugs. But the world is shifting. I know a handful of heavily modified guys who’ve built real careers, and little by little people are becoming more open,’ Didi says.
But let’s take a look at what he’d look like without any of it. We used artificial intelligence to remove his tattoos — and the result is right here.
